ROCKYGUNS

Generi: hypnotic techno

ROCKYGUNS is the alias of Simona Argurio, an Italian multi-instrumentalist, techno producer, and sound engineer. Her passion for electronic music began in Vancouver in 2016, while studying Sound Engineering and Music Production at SAE North America. After several years, she returned to Italy and made her debut with a live show at Tempio del Futuro Perduto for Dropzi Records. In Milan, she studied at the Istituto Europe di Design (IED), focusing on New Art Technologies with a specialization in Sound Design. In 2023, she created Risveglio, an experimental electronic music project and sleep concert exploring the theme of sleep paralysis. She is also producing a monthly podcast called Sublevel, exploring themes of the night. Her sound blends elements of dark, groovy, hypnotic, and mental techno, with a focus on sonic exploration and rhythmic tension. Every set is a space to get lost in, with no trills, no compromise.
